I took the CWP class on March 16 2013. I wasn't sure what to expect coming in to it but after going through the course, I could not have asked for anything better. The instruction was very insightful and entertaining and their commitment to support and defend our 2nd amendment rights is second to none. It is very easy to see that they are not doing it for the money, the requirement is 8hrs of instruction but they give 11 and after all the free food and drinks, I don't see how they make a dime. I highly encourage anyone considering taking a weapons course of anykind, call BELT, you won't be dissapointed.

Someone who received their SC CWP from ATP told me it would be the longest 8 hrs of my life. So that's what I kind of expected from any CWP class. I gave up the convenience of a 5 min drive to attend Tommy and Lisa's CWP class this weekend (3-16-13) and I'm glad I did. The class was nothing short of knowledgable and captivating. I attended the class with just a few hours of sleep because of a last minute Security job I was asked to work the night before. So, was expecting to fall asleep and possibly not be able to focus because I thought all CWP classes are boring. Not the case, Tommy shared a lot of knowledge and kept the class insightful. I stayed awake through the whole class that is far from boring. Changed my whole mindset on what the expectations of a CWP holder should be. Lisa Marie's lunch was nothing short of great also. The qualifying on the range exceeded every expectation by pulling my firearm from my holster from cover, something I know ATP does not do in their CWP class. The test at the end of the was easy because Tommy covers everything during the class. I plan on volunteering at Belt Training and definitely taking the Advanced Concealed Carry Class. Thanks Tommy and Lisa for a great learning experience.

My wife and I took the CWP class last week and it was well worth every penny and minute. After 24 yrs in the military I do not remember and class that lasted 11 hrs that I enjoyed that much. Outstanding facility, range, food and staff. I look forward to taking the advance carry class in the future.

I spent the day attending the CWP class and I have to say that it was one of the best classes of any kind that I have ever attended. The very first thing I noticed when I entered the class room is how well the facility is designed for it's intended purpose and how friendly and knowledgeable the staff are. Our class was "team" taught by two instructors. I find this approach to instruction very helpful and interesting.Tommy does an incredible job of teaching. He conveys his extensive knowledge of gun law, interspersed with "real world" examples of how it can be applied. He also goes to great length to instill the moral responsibility involved regarding concealed carry and general handgun ownership.During the care, maintenance and safety portion of the class, it became very evident that Carlin (the other staff member teaching the class) spends great of time practicing and honing his skills with his firearms so that he can properly (and very skillfully) share these skills with his students. I felt that I had a complete understanding of the time and continued training needed for caring, maintaining, and using my handguns in a safe and effective manner. Some will think that an 11 hour day spent in a training class is a bit much…BUT this class is so packed with information that the time seems to fly. While the classroom instruction is second to none, where BELT Training really shines is on the firing range. There were a total of 4 instructors on the range with our class. I felt as though I was not taking a qualification test for my CWP as much as I was receiving training to become a much more accurate and better shooter. There are many places that advertise a shorter and/or more convenient classes but if you want to actually do what it takes to become a responsible and safe concealed carrier and handgun owner, this is YOUR class. You will leave this class knowing that your CWP was "earned", also knowing you are "better" than when you arrived. The BBQ LUNCH was also awesom

My wife and I took the CWP class on 1/26 and were completely impressed. From the comprehensive weapon and legal instruction in the classroom to the safe and professional range time to the excellent lunch, everything was top grade! We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Tommy, Lisa Marie, and their great staff! We are already enrolled in the Advanced Carry and Concealment course and my wife is taking more one-on-one instruction with Lisa Marie.

My husband and I went to the CWP class on 2/2/13 and we had a great experience. Not only was the class thorough and extremely informative, but we enjoyed all of it. I was not quite sure how I would do with the qualification portion of the class because I've only shot a handgun a few times, but with all of the instructors you had on the course I was able to get some great constructive advice and it turned out that I had a knack for it and scored 100%. We will definitely try to sign up for the Advanced Carry and Conceal course and I will be referring everyone I know to your classes. Thank you!

I took a one on one class with Lisa. She is amazing, and helped me to become really comfortable with handguns, semi-automatics in particular. I feel completely empowered and capable of defenindg myself if necessary, all thanks to Lisa! I am looking forward to taking my concealed weapons class with the BELT team in the next few weeks. I highly recommend Lisa and Tommy for any training you may need.

I took the class on 1/5/12. I had some issues with my marksmanship previously, but Tommy and Lisa Marie worked with me and I qualified. Everything was great and I learned a lot. Practice, practice, practice! Thanks for all of your help!

My wife, Melissa and I took the CWP class today and it was amazing! We had such great time and learned so much! Thank you Belt Training staff for the hospitality and sharing your knowledge with us.
The only issue we had, which was in no way the fault of the class, was that there was a group of four men that made my wife feel really uncomfortable on the shooting line. They were making rude comments about her being a female and being so weak that she couldn't even drop the magazine from her weapon. Not a big deal because she was mature enough to remove herself from the situation and change places in the line with another gentleman.
Aside from that little incident, everything was great! thank you Lisa Marie for cooking lunch, it was amazing! I will recommend your class to everyone I come in contact with!!!!
